Orlando Bonzi is an Italian–Paraguayan guitarist, vocalist, composer, and educator based in London. Renowned for his distinctive voice, expressive guitar playing, and deep musicality, he has built an international career performing, recording, and teaching across Europe, Asia, North and South America.

A versatile musician, Orlando has worked across a wide range of styles, including jazz, fusion, Brazilian music, Latin music, funk, blues, rock, pop, R&B, and South American folk traditions. His musical journey has taken him to stages and studios in Paraguay, Brazil, Argentina, the United States, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Norway, Poland, Spain, and the United Kingdom.

In 1999, he released his debut album Mi Inspiración, whose title track reached the Top 10 on several radio and television charts in Paraguay. Brazil later became a major influence on his artistic development, where he spent nearly a decade performing and recording with acclaimed musicians including Filó Machado, Marcelo Mariano, Raul de Souza, and singer-songwriter Guilherme Rondon.

In 2013, Orlando released Recurso Natural, an album inspired by the landscapes of Brazil’s Pantanal region and recorded with some of the country’s leading musicians.

Following his move to Spain in 2014, he developed Jazz del Sur, a project that blends modern jazz with the folk traditions of South America and Southern Europe, featuring internationally renowned artists such as Gary Willis, Gergo Borlai, Jeff Ballard, and Perico Sambeat.

In 2018, Orlando was a prize winner in the Rhythm/Accompaniment category of the Lee Ritenour International Guitar Competition. Today, he continues to perform, record, compose, and teach internationally, he is also the founder of Music & Life London.
